Your main Responsibilities being a SEN TA will include:

• Provide individual and group support to students with special educational needs.
• Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
• Implement behaviour management strategies and support the development of positive behaviour.
• Create and maintain a supportive and inclusive learning environment for students.
• Work collaboratively with other members of the school's support team.
• Contribute to the development of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and behaviour.
• Attend relevant training and professional development opportunities.

Requirements that we need to get you cleared for this role:

• Enhanced child DBS on the update service or willingness to get one
• Experience working with children or young people with additional care needs
• 2 recent professional references
• Experience with behaviours that are challenging
• A calm & caring personality
• A strong and resilient personality and be committed to pupils development
• Reading, writing, numeracy and communication skills
• Team Teach trained - or willing to attend training
