The Headteacher of an inclusive Primary School in Salford is looking for an empathetic, committed individual to join their team long-term. You will be focusing on children who require dedicated Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) support.
As a Long-Term SEND Teaching Assistant, you will provide consistent, specialized 1:1 support for a specific child or small group (e.g., supporting pupils with ASD, ADHD, or Speech & Language needs), ensuring they feel safe, secure, and ready to learn.

Job Description:
Help to support children on a strict 1:1 or small group basis.
Provide tailored emotional, social, and academic support.
Implementing specialized plans, using visual timetables or sensory breaks as required.
Working closely alongside primary teachers and the school SENCo.
Long-Term - Full Time.
Hours between 8:30 am and 15:30 pm, Monday - Friday.

Requirements:
Experience or strong knowledge working with children with SEND
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to get one)
Resilient, patient, and exceptionally strong work ethic
Able to adapt completely to the sensory and learning needs of a child
Flexible; adhere to the needs of the pupils in a professional and friendly manner.
