About the role
At SABIC, you lead the development and implementation of regional category plans and get involved with strategic business initiatives to reshape and transform the organization. Your scope covers a variety of services, including contingent workforce management, recruitment process outsourcing, integrated facility management, marketing & communications, and waste management services. You are responsible for managing an annual spend of approximately 75 million euros, managing supplier performance and business continuity risks to optimize value against lowest costs.
Your main tasks and responsibilities at SABIC:
- Translate the vision and objectives of senior management into strategic regional category plans.
- Define and execute the regional Category Sourcing & Contracting strategy.
- Identify and actively drive opportunities to optimize Value Creation across the European region and business units.
- Deliver cost savings through benchmarking, strategic sourcing, commercial negotiations, and Business Process Outsourcing.
- Collaborate with and challenge suppliers to drive innovations and reduction of the Total Cost of Ownership.
- Manage a portfolio of contracts, supplier performance, supply risks, and supplier relations.
