Design electrical systems for robotic cells, automation equipment, and special-purpose machines
Develop standardized electrical schematics using SolidWorks Electrical or AutoCAD Electrical
Create and maintain symbol libraries, macros, templates, and wire numbering standards
Define and enforce electrical design standards and best practices across projects
Prepare electrical BOMs, cable schedules, I/O lists, and panel layouts
Collaborate with mechanical, controls, and software teams for system integration
Support PLC, HMI, robot, and safety system integration
Review electrical designs for compliance with safety standards and customer specifications
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership
Support commissioning and troubleshooting activities
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering
Minimum 7+ years of experience in electrical and controls engineering
Strong experience in robotics and industrial automation
Hands-on expertise in SolidWorks Electrical and/or AutoCAD Electrical
Experience in electrical schematic standardization
Knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, industrial networks, and safety circuits
Experience with control panels, VFDs, servos, sensors, and field devices
Knowledge of IEC / NFPA / UL standards
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
PLC programming experience (Siemens, Rockwell, etc.)
Robot integration experience (ABB, FANUC, KUKA, Yaskawa, etc.)
Safety PLC and functional safety exposure
Experience with PDM/PLM systems
Experience working with global teams
