Tasks & Responsibilities:

Nurturing System Integrity: Act as a guardian of instrument quality, ensuring the interplay between embedded software and hardware is seamless, robust, and reliable.
Creative Test Evolution: Design and develop thoughtful test scenarios that explore system resilience and identify potential weaknesses early in the lifecycle.
Transforming Data into Insight: Analyze logs and results to turn raw data into meaningful improvements, enhancing diagnostic capabilities and long-term supportability.
Collaborative Problem-Solving: Own the journey of an issue from discovery to resolution, working with cross-functional teams to verify effective solutions.
Bridge-Building across R&D: Serve as a key technical partner between development teams and production, providing clarity during complex troubleshooting phases.
Empowered Ownership of Quality: Deliver validated, high-quality work packages to ensure a smooth transition of designs to global partners in Service and Operations.

Qualifications (Must Haves):

Education: Degree (BSc/MSc) in Electrical, Mechanical, or Software Engineering.
Professional Experience: Minimum 5–7+ years of experience in testing within agile environments, specifically where software meets hardware.
IT Skills: Proficient with Linux and a strong foundation in test automation.
Languages: Fluency in English is mandatory.
Soft Skills: A curious investigator who enjoys learning how things work "under the hood." You communicate with empathy and clarity to lead technical findings toward collaborative fixes.

Nice to Haves:

Certifications: ISTQB certification is a plus, though your ability to think systematically is the primary focus.
Languages: German language skills are a great advantage for local collaboration.
Mindset: A proactive personality capable of building diagnostic "hooks" directly into designs and challenging conventional thinking patterns.
