Nike is looking for an entrepreneurial connector to join their team for a 6-month assignment. In this role, you will bridge the gap between Procurement and Finance by identifying, developing, and supporting cost-savings initiatives across the EMEA region. Your focus will be on cost-savings, finance alignment and data analysis.

- Experience: 7+ years of experience in procurement. A background in category management is highly favorable.
- Track record: Proven success in cost-savings initiatives, KPI analysis, and program implementation.
- Communication skills: Excellent stakeholder management and facilitation skills; you know how to run a workshop and present to senior leaders.
- Analytical mindset: Strong problem-solving capabilities with high attention to detail and data integrity.
- Energy & drive: A positive, "get-it-done" mindset. You are highly entrepreneurial and able to find opportunities independently.
what will you do
Your goal is clear: ensure Procurement and Finance are aligned on savings methodologies, drive accurate reporting, and turn data-driven insights into tangible value for the organization.
- Identify & drive savings: Partner with Procurement and Finance teams to uncover cost-reduction opportunities and validate reporting methodologies.
- Facilitate collaboration: Lead workshops to strengthen the connection between functions, aligning on reporting standards, savings recognition, and decision rights.
- Analyze performance: Run reports on procurement KPIs (e.g., spend visibility, savings pipeline, supplier performance) and provide actionable insights to category teams.
- Data integrity & reporting: Maintain high data accuracy in systems (e.g., SpendHQ, PPM Tool) and prepare clear dashboards for monthly and quarterly reviews.
- Strategic project management: Lead data-heavy projects within the Innovation and Operations space, applying a structured change management approach to achieve goals.
- SRM & innovation: Evaluate the Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) program and promote a culture of innovation and collaboration.

You will be based at Nike's inspiring European Headquarters (EHQ) in Hilversum, a dynamic campus that reflects the values of the brand. Nike offers a hybrid working model (3 days in the office, 2 days from home).
