global matrix structure. Reporting to NSG Finance Director Automotive Global.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Financial Leadership:
Partner with global finance teams and India leadership to drive financial strategy aligned with
business objectives.
Oversee long-term financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management.
Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
Controllership & Compliance:
Ensure adherence to local and global accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP) and regulatory
requirements.
Oversee statutory audits, internal controls, and compliance with India-specific laws
(Companies Act, FEMA, GST, Income Tax, Corporate Secretarial etc.).
Manage all direct and indirect tax matters with help of Senior Consulting Firms, including
transfer pricing and tax assessments and liaise with Group Tax Department
Manage corporate secretarial activities including board meetings, statutory records and filings,
and liaison with regulatory authorities.
FP&A and Cost Management:
Drive annual operating plans, rolling forecasts, MTP and monthly variance analysis.
Lead cost optimization initiatives and financial efficiency programs across functions.
Monitor KPIs and ensure financial targets are met (MOP (Management Operating Profit), WC,

Capex requests / business casesTreasury and Cash Flow Management:
Manage treasury operations, including cash flow forecasting, fund management, and banking
relationships. Liaise with Group Treasury Department
Implement effective working capital management processes.
People Management & Leadership
Ensure growth and development of direct reports through training and learning initiatives
Conduct performance management processes
Plan manpower and resource requirements
Foster healthy work environment encouraging empowerment and diversity
Stakeholder Engagement and Reporting:
Act as the primary finance liaison between India Business, global headquarters, and external
stakeholders (auditors, regulators, banks).
Qualifications:
Qualified Chartered Accountant
15+ years of progressive finance experience, with at least 5+ years in a leadership role within
a MNC environment (CA post experience).
Strong understanding of Indian financial regulations, tax laws, and corporate governance
standards.
Strong understanding of External financial regulations, tax laws, and corporate governance
standards.
Proven experience in financial strategy, FP&A, controllership, and treasury management.
Experience working in a matrixed global organization is preferred.
Skills & Competencies:
Strategic financial leadership with hands-on execution capability.
Experience on SAP is must. SAP Expertise: Proficiency in SAP FI-AR (Accounts Receivable), FI-
AP (Accounts Payable), and MM (Materials Management) reports.
Strong business acumen and commercial mindset.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
High integrity, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
