A commercial construction team with a long term growth plan, strong pipeline and financial backing they are looking for like minded professionals to join a strong delivery team onsite.
Position Overview:
As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the construction site, ensuring that the project is delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
You will work closely with the Project Manager and senior leadership to ensure effective coordination of all site activities, including subcontractor management, quality control, and health and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all site activities for the a $240m+ tower.
- Oversee site operations, ensuring the project runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently.
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring work is completed on time and to the highest quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, building codes, and environmental policies.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and proactively implement solutions.
- Manage site logistics, including materials management, equipment, and workforce allocation.
- Conduct regular site inspections and ensure compliance with the project schedule.
- Provide leadership and direction to site staff, fostering a collaborative and productive working environment.
- Liaise with key stakeholders, including clients, consultants, and authorities.
Key Requirements:
- QBCC Open Site Supervisor License
- Proven experience as a Site Manager in Australia delievering construction projects, ideally in luxury residential or high-rise developments.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, building regulations, and safety standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A strong commitment to quality, safety, and environmental sustainability.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Construction Management or Engineering (preferred).
- Extensive experience in managing large, complex projects with a focus on high-end residential or commercial developments.
- Proficiency in project management software and construction documentation.
