We are looking for a senior experienced Technical SME to join our existing team to Manage the end to end delivery for the program.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities
* Technical design, development, implementation, automation and maintenance of the Asset Services IT platform to meet the needs of the business.
* Pre-production acceptance testing to help assure the quality of our products / services.
* Suggesting and contributing to architecture improvements, recommending process improvements.
* Ensuring system’s compliance to the constantly changing cybersecurity standards by ensuring timely improvements and ever greening upgrades of the systems.
* Build, release and configuration management of production systems.
* System troubleshooting and problem solving across the platform and application domains.
* Contribute to the smooth running of IT systems by ensuring that problems with production systems and IT services are investigated and resolved efficiently with minimum disruption to the business.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant internal instructions/policies, internal control standards and external regulatory requirements, including the management of operational risk and adherence to the Group’s standards of ethical behaviour.
* Communicating with the stakeholders for the upgrades, project enhancements and changes in the system.
* Manage Transition in a multivendor environment.
* Manage proper Support model for local Business users and make sure to be the local SPOC for the Business for any AS IT support related things/tasks
* Build solid relationships within IT team, up and down stream dependent IT teams, and, Business, senior stakeholders in all involved parties
* Manage and maintain clear understanding across all interested parties the status of the project, the key decisions to maintain momentum. Ability to propose program solutions and negotiate with delivery teams and stakeholders to prioritize effectively.
* Continuous Improvement / Innovate: quickly assimilate and learn from the experiences and apply these learnings to improve future delivery effort
* Producing necessary Project Plans, Schedules and Tracking and other required supporting documentation
Qualifications
Must-haves
• 5-8 years Core Java experience (Java 11 or higher)
• Spring/Spring Boot/Spring Cloud Technologies
• Microservices, REST
• JMS (IBM MQ/Active MQ)
• MSSQL Server/Oracle database
• Devops
• Docker or PODMAN
• Cloud Technologies like GCP or AWS will be added advantage
• Ability to support the current application (L2-L3 support )and re-design the application down the road
• First and only person in Canada for this application, working closely with London, New York, India and China team
• Corporate Action applications development and support experience - an example of this would be a stock split, or an equity trade (otherwise – Cash and Loans experience would also suffice)
• Experience in workflows such as static data sourcing, trade booking and settlement/confirmations knowledge – Capital Market
• Equities Trade Flow
Nice-to-haves
* 5-8 years’ project Management experience in Financial sector
* 10-15 years of IT experience in coding, Project management and Technical Program management
* Investment Banking knowledge
* Prior experience in Fixed Income applications
* PMP Cert
