Senior UX Designer - Enterprise Retail Ecommerce | 2 Month Contract
Are you a seasoned UX designer who's crafted digital experiences for major Australian retailers? We're looking for someone who speaks fluent "enterprise retail" and knows exactly what it takes to design ecommerce platforms that serve millions of customers.
The Opportunity
Join us for an exciting 2-month contract working on a critical ecommerce platform uplift for a major retail brand. This isn't a redesign from scratch - it's a strategic enhancement of an existing site that requires someone who can hit the ground running and navigate the complexities of enterprise-scale digital commerce. With multiple projects in the pipeline, there's strong potential to roll onto subsequent work.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading the UX design for a high-impact ecommerce uplift
- Working across web and mobile experiences
- Collaborating with product, development and stakeholder teams
- Applying your enterprise retail expertise to solve complex customer journey challenges
What We're Looking For
- 5-10 years of UX design experience
- Proven background working on digital/ecommerce projects for major Australian retailers (think Kmart, Bunnings, Myer, Mecca, Woolworths, Coles, etc.)
- Demonstrable experience designing for enterprise-scale ecommerce platforms
- Strong portfolio showcasing web and mobile work
- Ability to work autonomously in fast-paced environments
- Deep understanding of retail customer behaviours and ecommerce best practices
