The Servers Analyst will support the stability, performance, and security of our on-premises and then cloud server infrastructure. key responsibilities
Server Infrastructure Operations

· Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows/Linux servers (physical/virtual).

· Assist in managing virtualization environments (VMware, ESXi) and backup systems (Dell Avamar, BackupExec).

· Apply security patches, hardening, and performance tuning, under supervision.

· Support Cloud migration initiatives (Azure/AWS) and hybrid infrastructure tasks.

· Document and update CMDB/inventory records for servers.
Incident, Change and Problem Management, Projects and Audits activities

· Resolve server-related incidents and escalate complex issues to next level.

· Participate in root-cause analysis and implement preventive measures.

· Participate on planning and execution of activities in the context of Changes and Projects, as well as collaborating in audits.

3. Process Adherence & Collaboration

· Follow defined policies for capacity management, backups, disaster recovery, incidents, changes, hardening, patching among others.

· Collaborate with teams on projects/audits (e.g., cloud transitions, security compliance).

4. Continuous Improvement

· Identify and report opportunities to reduce technical debt, optimize processes and avoidance of waste .

· Contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.

Requirements - Education: Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experienc

- Skills:

- Strong troubleshooting and operational execution.

- Ability to follow processes and document work.

- Basic scripting (PowerShell/Bash) for automation is desirable.

- Certifications: Microsoft/Vmware/Cloud certs are a plus (not required).

- English: Intermediate (spoken/listening).
qualifications
OS: Windows Server, Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS).

- Virtualization: VMware (vCenter, vRealize), Dell ESXi.

- Backups: Dell Avamar, BackupExec.

- Cloud: Azure (AWS a plus).

- Security: CyberArk/Duo MFA, Nessus.

- Other: SQL Server, ManageEngine, Dell Compellent.
