We're on the lookout for a skilled Service Technician, ideally an Electrician or Fitter with a Reconnect/Disconnect licence, to join our dedicated team. About the role
You'll be the go-to for servicing and maintaining disinfection and chemical dosing systems. This involves everything from preventative maintenance and ensuring water and wastewater treatment systems are running like a dream, to creating detailed service reports. You'll be working in diverse settings – think local councils, municipal water facilities, mine sites, defence bases and commercial operations. Your expertise will cover chlorine gas systems, chemical dosing packages, analytical instruments, electrochlorination units, and pump maintenance, plus plant refurbishment and equipment overhauls. Plus, you'll be on call for those urgent emergency response situations!
What you will need
To ace this role, you'll need:
... - A valid Australian Electrical Licence OR A recognised Fitter qualification with a Reconnect/Disconnect Licence (Or able to obtain one).
- Drivers Licence
- Hands-on experience servicing and maintaining disinfection and chemical dosing systems.
- Skills in preventative maintenance and fault-finding.
- A solid technical grasp of water and wastewater treatment systems.
- Great report-writing skills.
- The ability to work solo or as part of a team.
- A commitment to top-notch service and quality work.
- Certifications like Self-contained breathing apparatus, First Aid, Confined Space, Elevated Work Platforms, Working at Heights, and Low Voltage Rescue would be a bonus!
- Ability to pass a Medical and Police check (Some sites require this to get permits - Think mining and defence)
