Responsibilities
Shipping Documentation: Accurately prepare and process various shipping documents, including bills of lading (BOLs), packing slips, and necessary customs forms.
ERP Management: Work primarily within Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) to update order statuses, track shipments, and maintain precise records.
Warehouse Support: Provide essential administrative support to the warehouse floor by printing pick lists and labels, and coordinating workflow for pickers and shippers.
Customer Service: Handle customer inquiries promptly and professionally, providing updates on shipping status, order tracking, and documentation details.
Operational Efficiency: Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner to support smooth, uninterrupted warehouse operations.
Communication: Maintain a strong customer service mindset, utilizing excellent verbal and written communication skills to liaise between the warehouse floor, office staff, and external clients.
Qualifications
Experience: Previous administrative or clerical experience within a warehouse, logistics, or shipping environment is highly preferred.
Technical Skills: Strong computer literacy is required. Previous experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) or a similar complex ERP system is a significant asset.
Soft Skills: A strong customer service mindset with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Attention to Detail: High accuracy in data entry and document preparation.
Work Environment: Comfortable working in an office setting located within a warehouse. Ability to perform limited physical tasks (less than 10% of the time), such as occasional document delivery to the floor or label checks.
