Dear Candidate We an opening for the position of Shunter He plays a vital role in railway operations, primarily responsible for the safe and efficient movement of trains and rail vehicles within sidings, and terminals. Key Responsibilities:

•  Train Assembly & Movement:

1. Move trains and train coached to build or split trains.
2.  Couple and uncouple rolling stock.
3.  Position trains correctly on tracks or platforms.
4.  Operate track switches and points manually or via remote control.

•  Safety & Inspion:

1. Conduct safety checks on trains and rail infrastructure.
2. Apply and release parking brakes / brakes as needed.
3. Report defects or irregularities to supervisors.
4. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and procedures.

• Coordination & Communication:

1. Work under the direction of Controller or Lead Shunters.
2. Communicate with train drivers, signal operators, and dispatchers.
3. To Maintain records of train movements and inspections.

• Technical Operations:

1. Operate shunting locomotives and related equipment.
2. Use remote control devices for train movement.
3. Understand train operating procedures and mechanical principles.
