Subject Matter Expert - Mobile Fleet Maintenance Strategy
Randstad are seeking immediate applications from available and suitable candidates for the role of Subject Matter Expert - Mobile Fleet Maintenance Strategy, within a leading mining and resources organisation. Due to a commitment to asset performance and reduction of unexpected breakdowns, this exciting opportunity is available.
You will provide technical expertise for the development of maintenance strategies for the new mobile mining fleet across our global mining client’s sites.
Key responsibilities of this role include:
- Develop maintenance strategies for new mobile mining equipment including large mining equipment, auxiliary vehicles and machines and light vehicles
- Review vendor/OEM information and manuals to extract required information for cataloguing, service strategy development, major component change-outs, and technical documentation
- Engage with project stakeholders, OEMs, materials management, and site maintenance teams to ensure maintenance operational readiness
- Work closely with Master Data Specialists to prepare and validate SAP master data in line with project deliverables
- Develop or update technical maintenance instructions to support maintenance strategies.
The successful candidate will possess:
- Significant knowledge of mobile mining equipment maintenance, including large scale mining machines and small auxiliary machines and vehicles
- Working knowledge and experience with SAP master data objects is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of and practical experience in maintenance and work management processes
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or a related discipline/trade (Mechanical or Electrical) is highly regarded
- Demonstrated stakeholder engagement skills and the ability quickly gather critical information
- Proven experience in technical document development and writing is well regarded
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Highly technical and detailed
- Current unrestricted drivers license
- Energetic with a positive, can-do attitude
