What will you do?
As a Strategic Category Manager, you are responsible for designing and implementing multi-year strategic plans for SABIC's Specialties business. You act as the focal point for diverse categories, such as technical goods, business services, and energy. You are an expert in identifying new market opportunities and managing complex contracts on both regional (EUR/AMR) and global levels.
Your focus lies on value creation and achieving the lowest 'Total Cost of Ownership'. You challenge existing concepts and 'single source' situations to continuously improve the business. Additionally, you play a crucial role in crisis management and ensuring global compliance with legislation regarding ESG and carbon neutrality. Through close collaboration with senior management, technology leaders, and production units, you ensure a perfect alignment between procurement strategy and stakeholder vision.
