We are working with a national infrastructure company and are seeking a versatile, proactive Structural Design Drafter for an immediate start on a contract basis. You will be supporting a busy engineering team, taking concepts from rough mark-ups to high-quality, 3D-integrated structural packages.

This role isn't just about drawing - it’s about interpreting engineering intent, coordinating with other disciplines and ensuring constructability across steelwork and foundation projects.

What you’ll be doing:

• Produce high-accuracy structural drawings (Steelwork & Foundations) using AutoCAD (MicroStation experience is a major plus).
• Develop structural concepts to a preliminary level for engineering review.
• Manage and maintain complex XREFs and integrate civil models (RLs/Set-outs) with structural elements.
• Conduct clash detection and resolve alignment issues between disciplines.
• Provide mentorship to junior team members and uphold high documentation standards.

What you’ll need:

• Proven experience in structural drafting for industrial or civil infrastructure projects.
• High proficiency in AutoCAD; 3D modeling and MicroStation experience will put you at the top of the list.
• Ability to interpret civil models and establish Reduced Levels (RLs) and set-outs accurately.
• You can spot a clash before it becomes a problem on-site.
