The Opportunity
Morning Shift: Monday to Thursday, from 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Evening Shift: Monday to Thursday, from 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM
Base Pay Rate: $35.00 to $40.00 hourly, strictly dependent on your level of proven shop experience.
Shift Bonus: An additional $3.00/hour premium applied to all afternoon shift hours.
Timeline: We require an immediate start. Projects currently booked through October.

Responsibilities
Machine Operation & Setup: Calibrate, configure, and run industrial Submerged Arc Welding (SAW) machinery to execute deep-penetration, defect-free welds on massive structural steel assemblies.
Technical Interpretation: Read and interpret complex blueprints, engineering drawings, and welding process specifications to determine layouts and sequences.
Strict Quality Control: Perform visual inspections of finished welds to ensure they meet industry standards and project tolerances; repair or touch up welds as needed.
Heavy Rigging & Handling: Safely operate overhead cranes and forklifts to position large-scale heavy metal components (chutes, structural beams) for welding.
Metal Prep & Fitting: Execute all foundational preparation, which includes precision grinding, detailed joint fitting, and strategic tacking prior to the final automated welding process.
Safety & Maintenance: Maintain a clean workspace and perform routine maintenance on welding heads, flux recovery systems, and power sources.
Qualifications
Mandatory Credentials: You must possess valid, recognized welding tickets.
Hands-On Expertise: We require a demonstrable track record of successfully operating automated Sub Arc welding systems within a heavy fabrication or manufacturing environment.
Professional Drive: We are hunting for highly dependable individuals who bring a proactive, problem-solving mindset and a relentless work ethic to the shop floor.
Adaptability: Please note that all new hires will complete an initial assessment and training period on the Day Shift before being officially transferred to their finalized, long-term schedule.
