As a warehouse worker, you meet the following requirements:

• you must be at least 16 years old
• you must be available for at least 3 weeks between weeks 28 and 35
• you must be available to work 24–40 hours per week
• you must be physically fit; lifting and stacking boxes is no problem for you

You’ll be working in an energetic team. Together with your team, you’ll ensure that thousands of students receive their books on time every day. You’ll always start your day with your team in the department where you’ll be working. Your team leader will be waiting for you to go over the day’s schedule.

Will you be working as an order picker? Then you’ll walk through our warehouse with a handheld scanner to gather all the correct books. With all that walking on the shop floor, a gym membership is practically unnecessary💪. You can also work in our packing department. Here, all packages are processed at lightning speed and prepared for shipment.

Between weeks 28 and 35, we operate on a convenient two-shift system. One week, the day kicks off early with the morning shift. The next week, you have the entire morning off thanks to the afternoon shift. This way, you’ll have more than enough time for relaxation and other fun plans alongside your work! 🚀

The working hours are as follows:

Morning shift: 7:00 AM – 2:45 PM.
Afternoon shift: 3:00 PM – 10:45 PM.

What do we expect from you?

• a healthy dose of commitment and enthusiasm to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in
• you are available for at least three weeks during the period mentioned
• you have a friendly and collegial attitude

At VanDijk, you will be working in the warehouse of one of the largest schoolbook suppliers in the Netherlands. All schoolbooks for secondary school students are shipped from Kampen.

There is a large terrace where you can chill out in the sun during your break. There is also a canteen serving tasty sandwiches. Transportation? Taken care of! There is a free bus to and from Kampen. And the best part is that you get to meet lots of new people!
