JD - Supply Chain Performance Engineer
Job Description:
- This position addresses day-to-day supplier constraints to improve supplier performance and their ability to flexibly and rapidly respond to Caterpillar requirements.
- Works collaboratively with escalated suppliers and multiple facility functions to address and resolve supplier delivery issues using root cause and corrective action (RCCA).
- Coordinate Engineering Change Notification process for purchasing function, liaising with multiple facility functions for effective implementation.
- Coordinate Supplier Tooling Management process working with Category team & suppliers - including PO management, Accounting, Payment release, Physical counts in line with Purchase Practices.
- Coordinate RCCP (Rough Cut Capacity Plan) process, liaising with Category team to ensure supplier capacity to meet facility requirements.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (Mech/Prod/Automobile) with minimum of 3 years working experience in Purchasing or Supply Chain/Logistics
- Good analytical and problem-solving skill.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer service focus.
- SAP knowledge will be an added advantage
