Determines and/or executes the most effective regional or global sourcing rules.
Owns and operates site or regional planning models (provides functional expertise for model
operation; assures most efficient use of information technology)
Serves as a local site coordinator/planner for integration of internal demand, utilities, or
environmental operations at a particular location.
Routinely checks and tracks inventory quantity, slow-moving or other inventory statuses and ensures
that inventory volumes meet the plan.
Identifies, prioritizes, and addresses supply issues (e.g. short-term capacity constraints, product
shortage, emergency customer order received, uncovered production requirement, etc.)
Leads collaboration with customer service, manufacturing, logistics, third-party service providers and
business partners to meet business obligations in case of unplanned events
Supports global supply chain initiatives by interfacing with other supply chain personnel in the
business and shared services, Work closely with Customer service and sales to meet customer
needs.
Contribute actively to the S&OP processes within the area, Tune capacity requirements with Logistics
and Outplant management
Lead resolution of unplanned events or of serious service/quality interruptions
Execute business supply chain strategy on quality, service, inventory, costs, Identify and drive supply
chain improvements. Help drive cross functional initiatives.
Place stock transfer orders and monitor the status of the shipment.
Work collaboratively with regional planners to address any operation issues and close the gaps.
Qualifications
Master’s / Bachelor’s degree in a discipline demonstrating logical thinking and computational skills
(Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, IT, Mathematics and certain Sciences).
1-8 years of experience in similar roles/fields
Fluent in English (written and spoken).
Proficiency in the use of MS office applications (excel, outlook, power point,...)
Preferred Skills
Strong Analytical skills, experienced in MS Excel
Planning Experience and/or ECC/OMP knowledge
Strong interpersonal effective and capability to collaborate effectively with different personalities and
styles
Independent decision making, demonstrated ability to perform under pressure
Speed & timeliness, proactive problem solving, initiative taking
Project management skills is considered a plus
Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement and/or APICS certification would be considered a plus.
Additional notes
The ability to accommodate a flexible schedule aligned with international time zones is essential -
night shift is required.
International relocation support is not provided for this position.
