Together with the Shift Leader, you will ensure a smooth flow of goods and contribute to the success of the entire distribution center. This is the ideal role for someone who is passionate about coaching people, even without logistics experience. key responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the team of warehouse staff to achieve common goals.
- Allocate tasks and ensure optimal use of resources according to the daily schedule.
- Monitor productivity, make adjustments where necessary and guide the team in the continuous improvement of processes.
- Organise team meetings and train new employees to promote a positive, customer-focused culture.
- Keep accurate records and collaborate effectively with other support services.
- Ensure compliance with QSHE (Quality, Safety, Health, Environment) standards and promote a safe working environment.
- Supervise the cleanliness and maintenance of infrastructure and equipment.
