You will ensure that all arrivals, departures, and inbound and outbound movements are accurately recorded. You will regularly update the status of trailers in the system, perform routine inspections to check for damage or maintenance needs, and promptly report any maintenance requests or issues in the system.
Hours: Monday through Friday, 4 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Salary: $22.50 per hour
The person in this position will be required to work outdoors, rain or shine.

Responsibilities
Your responsibilities as a Truck Inventory Clerk:
- Continuously monitor the movements and locations of trailers within the terminal (entrances/exits, arrivals, departures).
- Regularly update the status of trailers in the system.
- Perform routine inspections of trailers to detect any damage or maintenance needs.
- Record any maintenance requests or issues identified in the system.
- Monitor and record the frequency of use for each trailer, the duration of any downtime, as well as the frequency of maintenance operations or downtime.
- Communicate with logistics, maintenance, and loading/unloading teams regarding the condition of trailers, their availability, and any specific needs.
- Perform administrative data management tasks.
Qualifications
What it takes to excel in this role:
- At least 1 year of experience in a customer service or administrative role.
- Prior experience in the transportation or operations field.
- Bilingual in French and English, both written and spoken.
- Computer skills: proficiency with Microsoft products, Truck Mate, and web applications.
- Ability to quickly learn new software.
- Proven customer service skills.
- Strong conflict resolution skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a high-volume environment.
