To plan, design, implement, and monitor all training and development initiatives for faculty, staff, and students, ensuring alignment with the university’s vision for academic excellence, professional development, and institutional growth.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Development
• Develop and execute annual training and development strategy for all departments and institutes.
• Identify institutional skill gaps and design programs to enhance teaching, administrative, and leadership competencies.
• Collaborate with senior management to align training goals with university objectives.
Training Implementation
• Plan and conduct Faculty Development Programs (FDPs), Staff Development Programs (SDPs), Student Grooming & Employability Programs, and Leadership Workshops.
• Coordinate with internal and external trainers, subject experts, and industry partners.
• Prepare annual training calendars and ensure regular execution and reporting.
Monitoring & Evaluation
• Develop evaluation tools to measure training effectiveness and learning outcomes.
• Maintain training records, feedback reports, and performance improvement data.
• Prepare quarterly and annual training analysis reports for management review.
Coordination & Communication
Liaise with all Institutes/Departments to assess training needs.
• Coordinate with Placement, IQAC, and HR departments for integrated professional development initiatives.
• Ensure communication, attendance, and compliance related to training programs.
E. Innovation & Quality Improvement
• Introduce digital learning platforms, AI-driven training modules, and e-learning initiatives.
• Stay updated with current educational and corporate training trends to enhance program quality.
• Develop mentorship, induction, and continuous learning frameworks across the University.
Experience
Relevant experience in corporate/university training and development, at least 3 years should be in a leadership role.
