Our client is a new startup medical company in singapore. With continued successes both within Singapore and internationally, they are looking for a Test Engineer to join their dynamic team.
about the job
- Create and maintain protocols for ultrasound hardware, embedded systems, and integrated software
- Execute system and component-level tests to identify defects and performance inconsistencies
- Design and document custom test fixtures using CAD to optimize testing methods
- Participate in FMEAs and ensure all testing meets sample size and regulatory requirements
- Investigate technical issues and collaborate with hardware and software teams to improve product quality
- Test development plans from scratch, in depth bench top and clinical testing and validation
skills & experience required
To be successful in this position, you must have the ability to demonstrate or possess:
- Min Degree in Electrical & Electronics / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Min 5 years of experience as a test Engineer for systems testing in the medical device industry
- Strong understanding of IEC 60601, ISO 13485, and ISO 14971 standards
- Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, multimeters, and CAD software like Solidworks
- Proficiency in Python or MATLAB for automation and familiarity with statistical analysis
- Comfortable to work in north of Singapore (Woodlands)
