Your role:
As part of the newly established Global Business Services (GBS) organization, structured into three pillars – Operations, Global Process Ownership, and Strategy & Performance Management – you will play a key role in shaping the future of GBS. As a Warranty Business Rules Administrator, you’ll help identify improvements, drive
compliance, and contribute to a positive customer experience in a dynamic, international environment.

In the Warranty area, you will contribute to ensuring a smooth, transparent, and customer focused experience across company’s global service organisation. Our teams work at the intersection of customer service, product quality, digitalisation, and operational excellence, ensuring that warranty processes run reliably, efficiently, and in line with corporate standards. By managing essential data, supporting process improvements, and collaborating with international stakeholders, you will help ensure reliable and efficient warranty operations worldwide. Your contribution will strengthen company’s service quality and enhance the overall customer experience.
What you will do
● Maintain after-sales/warranty-related business rules in systems (especially AS400) based on inputs from various headquarter departments (engineering, quality):
● Based on input about product components and damage codes
● Based on warranty conditions and thresholds
● Align closely with after-sales partners (e.g., workshops) for special cases that cannot be replicated in the systems
● Monitor continuously and identify improvement needs regarding damage codes and early warning codes
● Align all business rules and translate them effectively across all platforms
Qualifications
Proven technical expertise in preferably commercial vehicles or alternatively automotive industry; especially technical documentation
Preferably completed studies (university/university of applied sciences) with a technical orientation or a comparable qualification
Basic understanding of ERP (esp. AS400) systems and modern database systems, MS Office skills, especially in Excel
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Fluent in oral and written English to present complex issues and a basic understanding in German
Independent, structured and cooperative way of working, interest in intercultural
collaboration
3-5 years of professional experience
