Key Responsibilities:

As a Network Outage Planner you will:

• Plan and coordinate works across electrical distribution networks
• Submit applications and secure outages and access approvals for planned works
• Schedule field crews and resources to meet project and client requirements
• Liaise with internal teams, subcontractors and network providers
• Provide guidance to field staff on client processes and requirements
• Support field coordination activities as required
• Maintain high standards of safety, environmental and quality performance

Qualifications:

• Certificate III in Electrical Distribution (desirable)
• Strong knowledge of outage planning and application processes (e.g. AusNet, United Energy, Jemena, Powercor, CitiPower)
• Experience coordinating works in electrical distribution or a similar environment
• Strong stakeholder engagement and customer service skills
• Good understanding of electrical network construction and stakeholder requirements
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Experience with access-based systems (e.g. Codex) and contract administration (desirable)
