Responsibilities
Equipment Maintenance: Pressure wash, clean, and detail drilling tools and equipment components before dispatch and after they are returned.
Logistics Support: Load and unload trucks and trailers, staging materials for dispatch, repair, or storage.
Rigging: Support the safe manual rigging of loads, including uneven or irregular items, following strict company procedures.
Yard Upkeep: Perform general shop upkeep such as sweeping, maintaining clear walkways, and assisting with snow removal or salt spreading as needed.
Digital Tracking: Use tablets, smartphones, and operations apps to complete documentation, inventory tracking, and basic billing-related workflows.
Equipment Operation: Operate yard equipment (such as forklifts or wheel loaders) once trained and authorized.
Collaboration: Work closely with the shop coordinator and welding team to complete daily priorities and solve day-to-day problems.

Qualifications
Experience: 3–5 years of experience in yard operations, construction, or equipment-handling environments.
Physical Requirements: Comfortable performing physically demanding work, including lifting, bending, carrying, and extended standing outdoors in all weather conditions.
Safety Mindset: Proven ability to rig loads manually with a focus on balance and securement.
Technical Literacy: Comfortable using smartphones or tablets for tracking and documentation.
Equipment Skills: Previous experience operating a wheel loader or forklift is preferred; a willingness to learn is required.
Attributes: Reliable, punctual, and able to follow directions and complete detailed checklists.
