Our partnership school in Hemel Hempstead is looking for a KS2 teacher to cover 2 days per week to join their team, supporting their fantastic Year 3 class. The role will be on Thursday and Friday, from January 2026 until July 2026. If you are looking for a consistent role in the new year and would like part-time work, this role would be your perfect start to 2025! Your KS2 teacher responsibilities:
- Mark and assess work taught from your days of teaching
- Effectively the classroom teaching assistant
- Record lesson development and briefly outline pupil progress
- Foster positive relationships with pupils, staff and families
- Follow planning to continue a coherent learning journey
- Deliver lessons with enthusiasm!

Requirements of the KS2 teacher role:
- Relevant teaching qualifications (PGCE, QTS etc.)
- Grade C or above (or relevant equivalent) in GCSE English and Maths
- 2 references from the last 5 years
- Experience teaching in a UK primary school
- Job history that covers the last 10 years
- An in-date Enhanced DBS on the update service
- Experience teaching in KS2 (desirable)
