Randstad has successfully completed the acquisition of part of the European activities of USG People. The total revenue of the acquired activities is around € 434 million and the consideration paid is € 20 million.
I thank the people from both USG People and Randstad for their efforts to ensure this transaction was a success. We are looking forward to working together to build on our market position in Spain, Italy, Poland Switzerland, Luxembourg and Austria. The combination will benefit both clients and candidates and will offer development opportunities for employees. We will now jointly start the integration process which I trust will run smoothly.
The transaction offers a significant opportunity for value creation and will be immediately accretive to Randstad's earnings per share. More details on the integration of the activities will be shared as soon as possible.
