Randstad Holding nv announces that Gregory A. Netland has decided not to serve a second term as a member of the Executive Board. His term ends at the next Annual General Meeting of shareholders in March 2012. He will leave during the course of this year helping to insure a smooth transition and business continuity. Netland has indicated he wants to pursue opportunities closer to home, focusing on participating in small and medium sized companies, using his expertise to help them grow and prosper.

Netland joined Sapphire Technologies in 1987, merging with Select Appointments in 1994 and with Vedior in 1999. He joined Vedior's board of management in 2007 and was appointed to the Randstad Executive Board in 2008, responsible for the U.S., Mexico and Canada.

We are greatly indebted to Greg for his contribution to Randstad and we are sad to see such an amiable industry veteran go. The past 4 years have been rather eventful. Greg has been very successful in developing a strong and solid presence in North America on the back of the integration with Vedior, the recession, and recently the acquisition of SFN. He leaves Randstad North America in excellent shape and I want to thank him for his commitment and dedication to the company. I wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors.

We are very pleased to announce the appointment of Linda as a member of the Executive Board. She is a great example of someone who has grown a career within Randstad, seizing opportunities when they present themselves and making a success of every challenge she met on the way. Her passion for the business and its people have led to great achievements in both the U.S. and Canada. This appointment is in line with Randstad's wish to fill 80% of its vacancies through the internal pipeline.
