Job Description
Minimum Education & Experience
- 4–8 years of relevant experience in industrial maintenance (manufacturing/process plant preferred).
- Exposure to TPM, PM systems, and plant utilities is an advantage.
- BE / B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering.
- Effective team coordination and skill development
- Preventive & Breakdown Maintenance: Develop and execute preventative maintenance plans (PMP) to reduce breakdowns. Perform urgent troubleshooting and repairs on complex machinery.
- Team Leadership: Lead, train, and mentor junior technicians, guiding them in troubleshooting and technical skill development.
- Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate records of machine performance, repair logs, and maintenance schedules. Ensure strict compliance with Health & Safety (HSE) standards. MR data preparation
- Spare Parts Management: Control maintenance tools and manage inventory of critical spare parts to ensure prompt repairs.
- Technical Optimization: Utilize PLCs, specialized tools, and data analytics to optimize machine performance and improve efficiency.
- Vendor Management: Liaise with external agencies for equipment repairs, calibrations, and warranty service.
- Knowledge about problem solving techniques /root cause analysis or 5 why analysis.
Skills & Competencies
- Knowledge of industrial machinery and maintenance practices
- Electrical panels, motors, drives, PLC basics (as applicable)
- Hydraulics, pneumatics, compressors, pumps, gearboxes
- Preventive and breakdown maintenance techniques
- Basic knowledge of utilities (DG set, boiler, AC, compressors – if applicable)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
