Location:North east Calgary
Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Wage $27/hr

Responsibilities
• Equipment Modernization: Efficiently uninstall old equipment hardware from transit vehicles.
• Site Preparation: Thoroughly clean and prepare work areas to ensure optimal conditions for new installations.
• Assembly & Installation: Precisely assemble and install new equipment components onto transit vehicles, adhering to all specifications.
• Tool Proficiency: Comfortably and safely utilize a variety of tools, including regular hammering, pneumatic tools, and electrical power tools.
• Reporting: Provide detailed daily reports on tasks completed, noting any deviations or issues encountered.
• Safety & Compliance: Strictly maintain compliance with all safety standards and electrical codes throughout every phase of work.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
• Experience: Proven experience in assembly, installation, or a similar technical role, preferably within a fast-paced industrial or transit environment.
• Physical Dexterity: Ability to safely lift and maneuver objects weighing up to 23 KG.
• Work Ethic: Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing time efficiently to meet project deadlines.
• Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail is crucial for ensuring precision in assembly and installation tasks.
Qualifications
• Educational background in electronics is highly preferred.
• 6 months to 1 year of experience in a manufacturing & logistics environment.
• Prior experience in electronic or automobile assembly is strongly preferred.
• Mechanical experience is acceptable for candidates with a strong technical aptitude.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly throughout the shift.
• High level of reliability and commitment to a full-time schedule.
