Experience on timing chain assembly process / any continuous assembly line.
Design and develop assembly tools, dies, and mechanical machines for chain manufacturing, with robust process controls in line with program timelines.
Implement and troubleshoot automation solutions including vision systems, cameras, sensors, and PLC programs.
Identify process bottlenecks, drive improvements, and resolve technical issues in assembly and machinery operations.
Collaborate with Program Management, Quality, Production & Maintenance teams for new product launches and continuous process enhancement.
Develop tools required for proto sample build as per customer timelines.
Responsible for conducting manufacturing feasibility assessment, provide capital and tooling requirement on new RFQs by coordinating with cross functional team and global team through MSO review.
Process planning of new chain assembly machines and facilities required to meet LRP volumes and increase customer demands.
Adherence of forecasted capital and tooling spending as per planned.
Develop new equipment as per company standards, install, conduct runoff trials, monitor results and handover.
Develop new technology process based on Morse products strategy with global support.
Responsible for Improving current process to global standards in terms of productivity, Scrap/PPM, Safety, Poka yoke controls, Process capability thro bench marking.
Extend technical support for production and quality on Critical line stoppages and Customer complaint issues.
Responsible for maintaining Tooling Perishable inventory required for assembly process.
Will be responsible for devising ways and means to improve competency of his team members by training and job allocations.
Should be competent in ISO 50001:2011 requirements for establishing, implementing, maintaining and improving an energy management system and follow a systematic approach in achieving continual improvement of energy performance, including energy efficiency, energy use and consumption.
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical with 6 - 10 years of work experience in Tier 1 OEM automotive based manufacturing environment with multiple customers.
