Key Responsibilities: * Own and lead online (in-process) inspection across die casting, electroplating, assembly, and tool room - strengthen the existing process, set clear checkpoints, and run it daily; the existing inspection team will report into this role. * Review and upgrade existing quality control systems and SOPs to align with ISO 9001 and relevant industry standards, and continuously improve them. * Oversee incoming material inspection, in-process checks, and final product inspection across all shops, ensuring dimensional and mechanical properties meet specifications. * Investigate quality deviations, non-conformances, and customer complaints; drive root cause analysis and corrective action, with particular attention to casting defects, plating quality, and dimensional/tooling accuracy. * Maintain and strengthen the ISO 9001 quality management system - documentation, records, and process controls - ensuring ongoing compliance. * Maintain and update quality documentation, including SOPs and daily inspection formats, in line with ISO requirements. * Lead preparation for and participation in internal and external audits (ISO, customer audits) and ensure timely closure of audit findings. * Train and lead shop-floor quality inspectors on inspection standards, defect classification, and ISO-compliant practices. * Track and report quality KPIs (rejection %, PPM, first-pass yield) to management on a regular basis. Required Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience). * 3-5 years of experience in a quality assurance role within a manufacturing environment, with exposure to die casting, electroplating, assembly, or tool room operations. * Strong mechanical aptitude - comfortable reading engineering drawings, tolerances, and dimensional specifications. * Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems and applicable industry standards. * Demonstrated ability to review, strengthen, and drive existing quality processes and systems, with an eye for continuous improvement. * Working knowledge of inspection equipment and measurement systems (calipers, micrometers, gauges). * Strong ownership mindset with the discipline to drive daily follow-through on inspection and quality routines. * Ability to lead and coordinate with cross-functional teams and shop-floor staff. * Good analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. * Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
