As an Automotive Engineer Lubrication Systems & Diagnostics, you will be the key figure in the definition, calibration, and optimization of the vital oil management system within modern internal combustion engines.
Your work is equally balanced: 50% of your time is dedicated to practical testing and 50% to processing and analyzing computer reports.
Your primary tasks and responsibilities include:
- Working on the Definition, Calibration, Emission Analysis, and Diagnostics of the complete lubrication system.
- Extensive testing of oil flow through the engine and analyzing all oil-related components, including the crankshaft, connecting rod, oil pump, oil consumption, and leakage.
- Providing functional verification of the systems.
- Being responsible for defining the specifications of the materials used per supplier and documenting this in reports.
- You are crucial in ensuring the performance, durability, and emission standards of the engine.
