Our client, a well-established financial institution, is currently seeking a Business Analyst to join their team. The successful candidate will focus on the development, enhancement, and support of their electronic trading platform projects.
about the job.
- Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders to translate them into functional and technical specifications.
- Be involved in the full project lifecycle for trading platform enhancements, including workflow design and process mapping.
- Coordinate and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test plan preparation, test case execution, and defect tracking.
- Provide dedicated user support and training for front-to-back office stakeholders.
- Bridge the communication gap between business users and the technical development team to ensure seamless project delivery.
skills & experiences required.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst within Financial Services, Securities, Banking, or Crypto industries.
- Solid knowledge of electronic trading platforms or relevant wealth/asset management products, such as Order Management Systems (OMS) or Execution Management Systems (EMS), is highly preferred.
- Strong experience in UAT coordination and providing functional support to end-users.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in speaking both Cantonese and English, and currently based in Hong Kong with a valid work permit..
