about the job
- Strategic Expansion: Creation and execution of a multi-year growth strategy for the APAC region, specifically targeting the defence industry
- Ecosystem Building: Identify, recruit, and manage a high-performing network of Value-Added Resellers (VARs) and local partners to ensure market depth
- C-Suite & Government Engagement: Act as the primary technical diplomat, positioning the firm’s timing and sync solutions to senior-level government stakeholders and defence contractors
- Market Intelligence: Serve as the "voice of the region," providing feedback to global R&D teams to ensure products meet specific APAC regulatory and operational requirements
- Pipeline Management: Maintain a rigorous, data-driven approach to the sales life cycle, ensuring accuracy in forecasting and CRM management
- Drive Account Growth: Manages incoming opportunities and referrals to cultivate repeat business and ensure client retention
skills and experience required
- Sector Depth: Minimum 5–8 years of experience in international business development, with a history of securing contracts in the defence sector
- Technical Literacy: A strong working knowledge of Time & Sync technologies or PNT frameworks is essential
- Diplomatic Skill: Proven ability to manage long-cycle, high-value contracts and navigate the nuances of regional government procurement
