Responsibilities
As the subject matter expert on Copilot within the Internal Audit (IA) function, your day-to-day will involve:
•Audit Enablement & Coaching: Train IA team members on daily Copilot usage across audit planning, risk assessment, walkthrough documentation, and test control design.
•Prompt Engineering: Translate complex Copilot capabilities into audit-specific prompts and workflows to generate defensible, auditable outputs.
•Hands-on Guidance: Provide real-time "desk-side" coaching during active audits to help teams determine when and how to leverage AI tools.
•Guardrails & Quality Control: Define acceptable vs. unacceptable Copilot use cases within IA, ensuring all outputs align with methodology and documentation standards.
•Use Case Development: Build and maintain a library of approved prompts, audit examples (planning memos, test steps, issue wording), and "Do/Don’t" guidance.
•Change Management: Drive the cultural shift toward AI adoption, supporting the rollout of new features and capturing lessons learned for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate combines technical AI proficiency with a traditional audit foundation.
•Experience: 5–7 years of overall professional experience, with a specific focus on Internal or External Audit execution.
•AI Expertise: Minimum of 3 years of experience with Microsoft Copilot (or equivalent intensive experience) with the ability to clearly explain user cases and limitations.
•Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Information Systems.
•Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook).
•Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to lead meetings (approx. 80% of the role) and conduct training sessions.
•Certifications (Nice-to-Have): * Microsoft Copilot-related certifications.
oCPA, CIA, or CISA designations.
