About the Role
Join our therapeutic residential team to provide a safe, stable, and nurturing environment for young people who have experienced trauma. You will use a person-centred approach to build trust, establish daily routines, and help vulnerable children rewrite their futures.
Suitable Transferable Experience:
This position is ideal if you have worked as a Youth Worker, Residential Childcare Worker, Therapeutic Support Worker, Family Support Worker, or Youth Mentor.
Key Responsibilities
- Build Relationships: Develop consistent, trusting bonds so young people feel safe and heard.
- Therapeutic Support: Apply trauma-informed techniques to help children manage emotions and high-pressure moments.
- Daily Support: Assist with routines, mealtimes, education, hobbies, and accurate record-keeping.
- Advocacy: Act as a positive role model and ensure the children's voices shape their care.
