The Role:

As a Content Officer, you will provide professional communication support to internal stakeholders, ensuring our technical materials are accurate, relevant, and accessible. You will work within a diverse and geographically distributed corporate environment, delivering high-quality content under tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop communications plans and templates for internal stakeholders.
Monitor and maintain multiple communication streams for accuracy.
Research, write, and edit a variety of IT materials.
Contribute innovative ideas and solutions for intranet and content management issues.

Skills & Experience

Essential:

Proven experience in website, intranet, or content management (SharePoint and Azure experience is highly preferred).
Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on researching and editing IT materials.
The ability to translate technical documentation into everyday language for diverse audiences.

Desirable:

Previous experience in IT or adjacent roles.
Experience working in geographically distributed organisations.
Exposure to Learning Management Systems (LMS) and course development.
A valid Western Australia motor vehicle driver’s licence.

Position Details

Title: Content Officer - State Government Client

Location: Kensington, WA (Free parking and on-site cafe available).

Rate: $61–$64 per hour + Super.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week.

WFH: This position is office-based.

Travel: Must be willing and able to undertake short-term travel assignments within Western Australia.
