Our client is a highly respected, national Tier 2 builder specialising in luxury residential, commercial, and boutique development projects. Backed by over three decades of industry experience and formidable leadership, they are currently expanding their footprint into Queensland. As part of their strategic expansion into Queensland, they have secured key leadership appointments and are now seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join their brand-new QLD delivery team.

The role
This is a pivotal appointment where you will join the business before project commencement, providing the opportunity to influence and take ownership of the full commercial lifecycle.
Responsibilities include
... - Procure, package, and negotiate subcontracts through to final account
- Manage all claims, variations, progress payments, and contract correspondence from both a head contract and subcontract perspectives.
- Oversee monthly budget management, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Build, mentor and lead commercial team members.
Experience Required
- Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience as a Contracts Manager in the Australian commercial construction sector.
- Strong knowledge of Australian construction contracts and commercial management practices.
- Experience delivering commercial towers or apartments with project values exceeding $50 million.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to manage all stakeholder relationships at all levels.
