The role offers significant learning and growth opportunities through handson
exposure to regulatory work, commercial contracts, and capital markets
advisory. Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in advising clients on regulatory matters under SEBI regulations,
including ICDR, LODR, Takeover Code, Insider Trading, and Mutual Fund
Regulations.
• Support in drafting and reviewing corporate contracts such as shareholders’
agreements, NDAs, service agreements, and vendor contracts.
• Provide research support and documentation for setting up mutual funds,
AIFs, and assisting investment managers with compliance.
• Conduct preliminary legal due diligence in M&A and fund structuringmatters under guidance.
• Coordinate with regulatory authorities such as SEBI and RBI for filings,
clarifications, and responses.
• Stay updated with changes in laws affecting capital markets, securities, and
company regulations.
• Draft internal legal notes, compliance checklists, and opinion briefs under
supervision.
• Assist the senior team in maintaining client communication and tracking
deliverables. Key Skills & Competencies:
• Basic understanding of SEBI laws, Companies Act, and mutual fund
regulations.
• Strong research, writing, and documentation skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced regulatory environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to work.
• Effective communication skills for internal coordination and external client
handling.
• Ability to multitask and work under supervision with tight timelines. Qualifications:
• LL.B. from a reputed law school/university.
• Company Secretary (CS) qualification is an added advantage but not
mandatory.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in a law firm or in-house corporate legal
team.
