Responsibilities
-Administrative support to the recruitment team (publication of job advertisements, sort the resumes received, coordinate appointments for interviews and medical appointments, assist with background checks)
-Prepare employment offers and send hiring documents package, ensure all documents are received and completed correctly
-Register new employees
-Send new employees information to payroll
-Ensure crew certification is valid before joining
-Make travelling arrangements (flights tickets, hotels, etc.) for crew changes and complete the credit card reconciliation;
-Manage Crewing Department invoices and follow up Crew Appraisals
-Assist with the preparation of short-term disability forms
-Assist in the preparation of various reports and documents including the translation and the formatting
-Assist with after hours crewing service when Crewing Supervisor is not available
-Assist with the Crewing Assistant duties when the Crewing Assistant is absent
Qualifications
-College Degree in Administration or a related field or equivalent combination of experience and education
-Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
-Good knowledge of Word and Excel and facility to learn new software
-Bilingualism (French and English)
-Very good oral and written communication skills
-Strong interpersonal skills
-Organizational and priority management skills
-Rigorous and detail oriented
-Confidentiality
-Ability to work as a team
Our Client operates across Canada, and globally/internationally in the United States and other countries. This company takes all reasonable means to limit the number of positions in Quebec that require knowledge of a language other than French, and only requires this where it is necessary and its existing bilingual employees are unable to fulfil these job duties. Based on an assessment conducted by our client, it has been determined that this position requires candidates to be fluent in English (oral and written). In particular, this position will require the employee to:
-communicate with English-speaking clients/partners/employees located outside Quebec on a regular basis
-work on client projects, products or deliverables that are required to be delivered to clients in English
