The Responsibilities include:
- Proving excellent customer service over the phone with direct enquiries, this can be clients ordering from their website or retail stores checking on their stock delivery
- Recording details of the calls as needed and ensuring the enquiry has been followed up
- Updating customer orders in the system and checking freight times
- Updating the spreadsheet as required
- Backing up the data entry team if they need any extra support
- Administrative tasks as required by management
- Updating the digital planning platform as needed, Asana
- Transfering calls and escalating enquiries to the relevant departments as needed
- Ensuring the emails and social media pages are checked and the direct messages and enquiries are responded to in a timely manner
Ideally you will have:
- Excellent customer service skills over the phone and responding to emails and messages
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to be flexible and adaptable to assist the data entry teams if needed
- The ability to multitask for efficiency
- Good problem solving skills
- The ability to prioritise tasks as needed with a strong sense of initiative
- Good experience with Social Media to navigate through comments and direct messages from clients
- Great IT skills with the ability to learn and pick up new systems
- Strong attention to detail and experience using Excel
- Experience working within an import/ distribution or retail company will be highly regarded but not essential.
