We are seeking an AEMS Display Editor for a 15-month contract to join a specialist testing and software team. In this role, you will be responsible for undertaking the development, verification, uplift, and maintenance of numerous AEMS displays required to facilitate multiple stages of testing activities and the final "Go Live" launch. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a generational leap in modern network operations.

Participate in design reviews and collaborate closely with stakeholders, including system operators and engineers, to gather requirements and ensure displays meet operational needs.
Apply rigorous display standards to the new system, ensuring specific colour choices, screen designs, and a consistent visual identity across all user interfaces.
Conduct defect and usability testing to identify layout issues, triage diagram complications, and perform manual rectifications or enhancements.
Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all user interfaces, including design specifications and inputs for user guides.
What You Need to Apply for This Role:
A tertiary qualification in Technical Communication, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; OR equivalent professional experience in user interface design.
Familiarity with SCADA systems and real-time data visualisation, with experience in operational technology (OT) or utility domains highly regarded.
Strong knowledge of industry standards and best practices for UI/UX design, particularly within the energy or utilities sector.
Excellent analytical skills, a sharp attention to detail, and proven documentation skills using Confluence, Jira, and the Microsoft Office suite.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities, with a proven track record of working collaboratively within cross-functional, technical teams.
