JOB DESCRIPTION - ELECTRICAL ENGINEER
Purpose
Execute electrical engineering, construction supervision, testing and commissioning for liquid storage
terminals, tank farms, marine jetties, pipelines and EPC infrastructure while ensuring safety, quality,
statutory compliance, schedule and cost objectives.
Qualifications

BE/B.Tech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or Electrical Engineering. Certifications in HT systems,
protection relays, hazardous areas, PMP or electrical safety are desirable.
Experience
5-12 years of experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, LNG, Refinery, Tank Terminal, Marine Jetty or
Pipeline EPC projects with exposure to complete electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Construction Management for all electrical works.
Review electrical drawings, SLDs, layouts, cable schedules and vendor documents.
Supervise installation of substations, transformers, HT/LT switchgear, MCCs, PCCs, UPS, DGs and
lighting systems.
Manage cable routing, trays, terminations, earthing and lightning protection systems.
Coordinate electrical works for marine jetty facilities, storage tanks, pipelines and utility systems.
Ensure QA/QC through inspections, FAT, SAT, testing, pre-commissioning and documentation.
Ensure compliance with HSE requirements including PTW, LOTO and hazardous-area practices.
Coordinate contractors, vendors and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Monitor project progress, prepare reports and support cost and schedule control.
Support commissioning, energization, performance testing, as-built documentation and project
handover.
Technical Competencies
Knowledge of IEC, IEEE, IS, API, OISD, NFPA and PESO standards.
Electrical system design review, protection coordination and power distribution.
Software: AutoCAD, ETAP (preferred), Dialux (preferred), SAP, MS Project/Primavera, MS Office.
