Essential Duties & Responsibilities: * Experience in designing substation switchyards up to 400 kV, including layouts, single-line diagrams (SLDs), and schematics. * Ability to prepare design reports, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and technical specifications for substation projects. * Proficiency in performing electrical design calculations, including CT/PT sizing, power transformer sizing, earthing, lighting and lightning protection, cable sizing, and busbar sizing. * Strong understanding of power system engineering principles, grid compliance, and applicable safety standards. * Knowledge of Substation Automation Systems (SAS) and IEC 61850 communication protocols. * Ensure substation designs comply with grid codes, industry standards, and safety regulations. * Proficiency in engineering design software such as AutoCAD and ETAP. Knowledge * Electrical Engineering degree. * Substation design up to 400 kV. * Power system engineering, SAS, IEC 61850. * Equipment sizing, BOQs, technical specifications, and grid/safety standards.
