You will play a crucial role in the entire Product Development Process (PDP), from concept to industrialization, focusing on innovation, efficiency, and manufacturability. Core Responsibilities• Product Delivery & Reliability: Ensure predictable and reliable engineering delivery of embedded products, emphasizing design for manufacturability (DFM), serviceability, and adherence to high quality/reliability standards.• Cost Management & Indigenization: Focus on cost-effective development, actively pursue production cost reduction opportunities, and drive indigenization initiatives.• Innovation & Optimization: Contribute technical innovations aligned with market needs and emerging trends. Identify and implement opportunities for performance improvement and system optimization.• Tools & Processes: Leverage AI tools to enhance design review, verification, and development efficiency. Maintain and update SOPs, work instructions, and technical documentation.• Compliance & Integration: Ensure strict compliance with industry standards, regulations, PDP, and design QA frameworks. Conduct milestone reviews and ensure smooth integration across all cross-functional teams.• Collaboration & Leadership: Collaborate closely with industrialization, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams. Coordinate with external suppliers and technology partners for outsourced development. Promote technical development through mentorship and training programs. Required Skills & Qualifications Technical Expertise • Embedded Systems Fundamentals: Strong foundation in electronics, microcontroller-based embedded systems, and various communication interfaces.• Hardware Design Proficiency: Hands-on experience with electronic components (passive/active), ICs, and sensors. Expertise in component selection and integration based on technical constraints.• Design & Documentation: Proficient in creating block diagrams, schematics, design calculations, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).• Tools: Skilled in schematic capture and PCB design tools (e.g., Altium, Eagle).• Firmware & Coding: Expertise in writing optimized, reusable, and scalable code in Embedded C.• Validation & Debugging: Experience with hardware/firmware design, simulation, testing, and debugging methodologies. Ability to create and execute comprehensive test plans to validate design performance. Strong debugging and problem-solving capabilities throughout the development lifecycle.
