Advantages

A bonus of 5% of annual salary, paid out quarterly.
Overtime is required.
Could be 7:30 AM or earlier, depending on the route assignment.
Local Shift (Calgary): If assigned a local shift, hours are typically 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM.
Long-haul deliveries to Manitoba (typically Sunday to Thursday), with other Western Canada routes
Note: Company pays for hotel accommodations and reimburses food costs while away on long-haul deliveries.
Responsibilities
Safely operate a power unit equipped with a multi-speed transmission (Automatic or Manual), including Super Bs, while strictly adhering to all safety requirements.
Perform thorough pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of the truck's mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment.
Complete all necessary paperwork and maintain an up-to-date Electronic Logging Device (ELD) and Driver Log throughout each shift.
Provide outstanding customer service and maintain positive, professional working relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
Observe and comply with the rules and regulations of the Ministry of Transportation, the Highway Traffic Act, and DOT regulations.
Assist material handlers with loading orders onto the truck and perform physical work, including lifting in excess of 50 lbs, as required
Qualifications
Valid A/Z driver's license (Class 1*Q).
A minimum of 5 years of verifiable truck driving experience is essential.
Must have an excellent safety and compliance record, with no driving-related criminal code convictions in the previous 36 months, and a limited number of moving violations.
Proficiency in the use of Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs) and a thorough understanding and adherence to DOT regulations.
Strong organizational skills, a high level of personal integrity, and the ability to work confidently and decisively with little supervision
